Hybrid IDCS – OSvC Integration
Overview
The customer was looking for a hybrid solution for automatic provisioning of users from Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) to IDCS, with SSO and MFA.
Oracle Service Cloud (formerly RightNow) is Oracle's flagship cloud-based customer-service product, helping businesses understand their customers and adapt to changing needs.
We integrated SSO using SAML and MFA via SMS or email. User provisioning is achieved one-way using IDCS SCIM REST APIs from OSvC to IDCS. Everything runs on OCI except OSvC, which stays on-premise. OCI WAF sits in front of the IDCS custom login page to protect the application by filtering and monitoring HTTP traffic.
