Single-Sign On & Authoritative User Synchronization
Overview
By deploying 2 IDCS App Gateways on OCI Compute instances for High Availability and creating an OCI Load Balancer across the two instances, we successfully leveraged IDCS SSO capabilities for the Retail Management System / Retail Engagement System, Trade Vendor Portal and Customer's Assets applications. We also provided SSO for Oracle Fusion Applications (SAML 2.0) and authoritative sync for users.
Using the IDCS SCIM template we synced users between the two IDCS instances (Central and Retail) and configured SSO using SAML. Users are also synced via the IDCS provisioning bridge from on-premise LDAP to IDCS.
